Bahamas Itinerary
Day 1
You will take a charter flight from Nassau to the "out islands", either Staniel or Norman Cay in the Exumas. Following your arrival there will be an orientation session, safety talk and itinerary briefing for our area of travel, gear and the activities of the next few days. We will load the kayaks and travel about four miles to our first campsite. NOTE: It is important that your arrival at the airport is prompt for your flight to the islands.
Days 2 through 7
PLEASE NOTE: Your trip may run from Normans Cay to Staniel Cay depending on weather conditions. In the next six days, we will visit numerous islands, beautiful beaches and mangrove lagoons. We'll wake each morning to a warm carribian sunrise. After breakfast we'll load up our kayaks and paddle along our island route. Most days will include time for snorkelling, walks on quiet beaches and optional short hikes. Most evenings we'll enjoy conversation around a small beach campfire of palm fronds. Nights under the stars on beautiful sand beaches will give us the chance to see the "Green Flash."
Day 8
Early breakfast, and a short walk to the runway for our charter back to Nassau to connect with your international carrier. Our arrival in Nassau may be late morning or early afternoon, so allow for a late flight home that afternoon or the next morning.
